It’s more subtle, because they aren’t thresting me directly, only suggesting to me that the threat is out there unless I pay them, so it’s more like Mob anwhile, when I do into the auto updaters on my computer and go into my drivers and click “search for driver updates”, it always tells me I have the latest drivers and yet Avast keeps telling me my drivers are out of date and wants me to pay them to get the updates.I’m 99% sure that I’m using the “real” version of Avast, because it’s the same one I’ve been using for the last 8 years.but wtf?.
